One of our new 1st year classes, 1B, have been busy since starting with us!
They organised daily maths challenges in conjunction with math’s week. Fun was had by all completing the number hunt around the school, estimating how many sweets were in a jar and a math’s game on Friday. 1B worked really hard coming up with ideas to share with the rest of the school and recorded videos daily to share with the whole school. They also explored temperature. The class took part in an experiment in making their own thermometers. They went out in the community litter picking as part of the picker pals programme they are completing in class. They found lots of strange pieces of rubbish thrown on the side of the road, even a smelly sock. Well done 1B for keeping our community clean.
